Zoeller Pump’s Recirculating Valve is designed to direct effluent from a recirculating media filter or a constructed wetland. The effluent can be directed (a) back into the tank for further treatment or (b) out to a lateral line for disposal. A copper float ball within the calve controls flow direction. When the level in the tank is low, the effluent is continually recirculated. As the level in the tank rises, the float valve seats, preventing the effluent from reentering and directing it instead to the disposal area. The recirculating valve accepts 4″ SCH 40 PVC pipe on the inlet and outlet.
