Basins

Ideal for residential, commercial and industrial applications

A basin from Zoller Pump Company is an essential component of sump, sewage, and effluent systems. Constructed with your choice of high-grade foam, fiberglass, or polyethylene, the heavy-duty containers collect and contain wastewater before it’s removed from a residential, commercial, or industrial building using a submersible sewage pump. While the pump sits at the bottom of the basin, the basin sits below grade.

During operation, wastewater enters the container through an inlet port or pipe. The liquid accumulates until it reaches a certain level. When the float switch or preset control activates the pump, the device moves the water away from the building. Depending on your chosen model, your basin may work with a 2- or 3-inch vent and 2- or 3-inch discharge pipe.

When properly installed, basins are watertight and gas-tight, arriving with sealing hardware and flanges for high performance. An inlet hub made of cast iron with an anti-corrosion coating provides incredible durability.

    • Various custom diameters and lengths available in fiberglass, consult factory (also with 10’ (3 m) water stack test)
    • Consult factory for larger size basins or special applications
    • 1 year limited warranty

    Notes
Basins are not designed to be installed where saturated soil hydrostatic pressure extends above the top of the pit unless the pressure is relieved by an independent drainage system. Basin cover vent and discharge seals may be rubber insert or bolted on flange design.
