We currently have the following positions open at
our Louisville, KY facility:
MANAGER OF ENGINEERING Basic Job requirements (Education and/or job experience):
Individual must possess a background of education and experience that
signifies a general working knowledge in all and specific proven expertise
in one or more of the following disciplines (mechanical, electrical,
civil, industrial, manufacturing, chemical engineering). Prior work
history must have incorporated project management, employee supervision
and demonstrated positive operational results with examples of visionary
objectives.
Specific Job Duties:
-
Support Manufacturing
process by working directly with Manufacturing and QA.
-
Assist Technical Service,
Sales and Marketing by providing necessary technical assistance to
meet customer needs.
-
Manage Engineering
Department with responsibility for all aspects of product Engineering,
Design and Product Improvement.
-
Manage R&D projects.
-
Coordinate Engineering
efforts on new product development, design, tooling and
implementation.
-
Manage cost reduction
efforts and product costing.
-
Evaluate quality issues
and determine root cause of problems impacting Manufacturing, QA and
Purchasing.
-
Evaluate product failure
and work to implement design improvement.
-
Evaluate new product
testing, field testing and introduction of product to market to assure
new design will meet customers expectations.
-
Active involvement in all
pilot runs. Working with plant manager, industrial process manager and
manufacturing engineer to assure successful introduction of project to
manufacturing.

Work trade shows as
necessary to meet Sales and Marketing needs.

Coordinate training
efforts to improve department skill level.
-
Hire and train new
department personnel.

Engineering Department
resource planning and allocation to projects.
-
Prepare annual budget,
salary needs and profit share.
PROJECT ENGINEER
Basic Job requirements (Education and/or job experience):
This individual will be based in Taiwan and must be bilingual. BSME
degree plus 7 years of experience or MSME plus 5 years of mechanical
design experience and demonstrated skill in engineering disciplines. Other
engineering or technical degree is acceptable with documented mechanical
experience and knowledge.
