BUYER
Basic Job Requirements (Education and/or Job Experience)
- Degreed individual or equivalent experience preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Experience procuring using ERP/MRP in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Well-developed computer skills in Word, Excel, and other office programs
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written & detailed oriented
- Self starter with strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills required
- This position requires the use of initiative and independent judgment
General Job / Function Responsibility
Purchase parts, supplies, equipment, tools, and services necessary for the operation of a manufacturing facility Material Requirements Planning program. Schedule delivery of materials and supplies to arrive for optimum usage. Source new vendors for improved pricing and delivery of materials. Help maintain vendor information including bids, contact information, and lead times. Meet with vendors to qualify new vendors. Utilize Material Requirements Planning reports to identify needed parts and materials. Update existing Purchase Orders with revised delivery dates and pricing as needed.
Product Support/Technical Support
Basic Job Requirements (Education and/or Job Experience)
- College degree preferred but work experience or military service will be considered if training is pertinent to job responsibilities.
- Three years in a business environment, military experience or extensive hands on technical background.
- Must possess the ability to relate to the technical nature, both mechanical and electrical, of the products manufactured and or distributed by Zoeller Company as well as the applications in which they are used.
- Must have a pleasant phone demeanor, with the ability to, under stress; handle all conversations in a clear, concise and professional manner.
General Job / Function Responsibility
You are directly responsible for cooperating with all other company personnel and to assist them, whenever possible, to help them succeed, as well as to insure the company’s success and perform other duties as directed.
Provide technical assistance on products manufactured by Zoeller Pump Company and available thru ZPC channels of distribution, F&W, Star Water Systems as well as purchased accessories available thru same. Support Zoeller Pump Company Products and items by providing technical information and assistance to Representatives, Wholesalers, Service Stations, Specifying Engineers, Contractors and End-Users of these products.
Canada Administrator -
Position is based in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada (home office of Zoeller Canada)
Basic Job Requirements (Education and/or Job Experience)
- Degreed individual, preferably in business with experience in manufacturing and logistics
- Degree not necessary if person has equivalent experience in these areas
- Experience working with computer software for Manufacturing, Inventory Control, Distribution and Accounting would be a plus
- Basic understanding of accounting procedures required
- Must be a self motivated, high energy individual that can work well with little or no supervision
- Must have the ability to develop and maintain daily policies and procedures
- Work with all divisional offices to insure a smooth transfer of materials within the corporation and to outside customers
